WELCOME DANA: OUR NEW MARKETING COORDINATOR

We are thrilled to introduce our new Marketing Coordinator here at SmartSolve, Dana Prenger. Dana is a recent graduate of Bowling Green State University (BGSU) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Marketing. She joined the SmartSolve team full-time in May of 2024.

About Her Role

As SmartSolve’s Marketing Coordinator, Dana’s key focus will be the effective planning, development, and measurement of key marketing initiatives. She also meets regularly with our Director of Sales and Marketing, Ashleigh Hotz. Further, Dana’s role will also consist of supporting content creation for SmartSolve’s website and social platforms.

When asked what she is most looking forward to in her role at SmartSolve, Dana explained, “I’m most looking forward to managing the marketing calendar and executing campaigns for the year. Promoting SmartSolve’s recent APR Design ® Recognition is a big part of my role, and I look forward to sharing this news at Labelexpo Americas.”

Goals and Inspirations

While working with SmartSolve, Dana has stated that she is most inspired by the culture and work environment. Each morning, the SmartSolve team starts each day with prayer and a word of inspiration. She explained that this is a great way to get to know everyone and to fulfill the company’s purpose statement, which is, “To glorify Christ through our character and actions as we faithfully steward His creation and resources.”

Dana has also stated that there are several goals that she hopes to achieve while working with the SmartSolve team. Her first goal is to significantly increase and raise awareness about SmartSolve’s innovative solutions and products. This involves creating compelling content, engaging with SmartSolve’s audience, and highlighting the unique benefits of SmartSolve materials.

Dana’s second goal is to network within the Packaging Industry. She explains that “Building strong connections within the industry is crucial. My goal is to attend industry events, participate in online discussions, and collaborate with other business professionals. This will not only help me to expand my network, but also keep me updated with the industry trends and best practices.”

Dana’s third goal is to grow social media profiles for SmartSolve. Currently, SmartSolve posts on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. SmartSolve also has a YouTube account but has not posted in a while. Dana’s goal this year is to post some of SmartSolve’s newer videos on this platform. Further, a specific milestone that she is targeting is to reach 1,000 followers on Instagram by the end of the year. SmartSolve’s Core Values

When considering SmartSolve’s vision, mission, purpose statement, and core values, Dana has explained which of these elements of SmartSolve’s culture resonates the most with her. She states, “I would say that the core values of SmartSolve resonate the most with me. These six values (Character, Drive, Innovation, Joy, Humility, Growth) are much more than words on the wall. They are recited and lived out each day by the people in the office. I find the value Growth very applicable to myself. I’m excited to help the company grow, and I love that the SmartSolve team also cares about my personal growth. “We equip and invest in our team” is the line correlated to this core value, and I’m appreciative of the investments going into my skills development and career.”
