Converting – Printing – Die Cutting:

SmartSolve water-soluble material is;
✓ Compatible with water soluble inks
✓ Compatible with digital inks

With SmartSolve water soluble material;
✓ Varnish will impede the dissolvability
✓ The dominate ink color will tint the water when dissolved

SmartSolve water-soluble material;
✓ Can be die cut with either rotary or flat bed dies
✓ Can be coated so that it is heat sealable for the production of water soluble premium pouches
✓ Is capable for stitch applications

Caution: Excess water in the converting process can result in damage.

Storing and Shipping:

Raw Materials – SmartSolve water-soluble materials should be completely covered (plastic-bagged and/or shrink-wrapped) between uses, during shipping, and throughout storage prior to conversion into finished products. Some of SmartSolve’s proprietary adhesive coatings are hygroscopic; prolonged exposure of uncovered material may result in curling, blocking, or delamination.

Finished Product – It is recommended that finished products produced from SmartSolve should be completely covered (plastic-bagged and/or shrink-wrapped) between uses, during shipping, and throughout storage prior to conversion into finished products.

Temperature and Humidity – SmartSolve water-soluble materials should be stored in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment. Storage conditions above 70°F or below 50°F, and above 70% RH or below 30% RH, may negatively impact the expected performance of exposed product. Historically, rolls that are fully encased, bagged, or shrink-wrapped in plastic have demonstrated tolerance to a broader range of temperature and humidity conditions. However, material condition should be evaluated by the user prior to processing or use, particularly if storage conditions fall outside the recommended ranges.

Statement of Practical Usage:

As with all materials, these products should be tested thoroughly by purchaser to ensure they meet
end-use application requirements.

Warranty:

All statements, technical information and recommendations about SmartSolve products are based upon tests believed to be reliable but do not constitute a guarantee or warranty. All SmartSolve products are sold with the understanding that PURCHASER has independently determined suitability of such products for its purposes. SmartSolve products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from date of shipment. Purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this warranty shall be the replacement of the defective products or, at SmartSolve’s option, the issuance of a credit or refund in an amount up to the purchase price of the defective product. In no event shall SmartSolve be responsible for claims beyond the purchase price of the defective
product.
