SmartSolve is continuously expanding, and we are proud to highlight the latest addition to our team. Meet our new Chief Revenue Officer, Alex Abbot! Alex is a proven leader in the packaging industry with experience in revenue growth strategies. He has earned both a graduate and undergraduate degree from the University of Indianapolis. Some of his previous job titles were Account Executive, Sales Director, Corporate National Accounts Manager, and VP of Sales and Marketing.

CRO Position Overview

The CRO is accountable for strengthening customer relationships, prospecting for potential customers, and designing an account management strategy and team. Alex is a leader who is expected to bring a strong understanding of all relevant markets and their distribution channels. He will also develop and put into practice business development sales, and client expansion tasks.

SmartSolve represents a unique opportunity where exercising stewardship over creation and building a business come together. While building a business is fun, being on the front end of an innovation that will drive sustainability transformation within packaging is tremendously exciting. SmartSolve represents the opportunity to positively impact our environment while also enhancing the lives of those we work with and the customers we are privileged to serve.

 All the CPG’s have made public commitments to become more sustainable.  These companies will be looking for solutions to deliver on significant goals within their portfolio of brands.  At SmartSolve we offer avenues to deliver zero waste packaging. We are going beyond recycling—we are driving towards a true solution. Considering the scale of major packaging categories such as food, laundry, dish, and beauty the opportunities before us are immense. We aim to become a leading sustainability solutions provider for both well-known brands and the common consumer.  While that aim may sound ambitious today, our commercial team has a fun road ahead sharing the story of what is possible and gaining SmartSolve the market exposure it is ready for.
